Some cute kitchens I found

Browing the web I found more kitchen inspiration. Some of these kitchens only have a few elements I like, some are nearly perfect, IMHO. Enjoy!

Salvage frames & vintage beach beauties

Welcome to my latest obsession..... I've been collecting frames made from architectural salvage.....
Paired with cute vintage "beach-beauties" themed prints.....
So cute, right? "So what's the problem?" you must be wondering.....
Well, I have colected 21 of them over the last two weeks alone.....
Obsessed? Maybe. But these little babies look so cute when they're hung. I wanted to put them in the kitchen. Then I started scattering them around the house. In the dining room they looked perfect. In the living room, bathrooms, entry by the tree hall....I can tell this is going to be an addiction I just may need some support in managing. I guess I'll just have to take things one day at a time, LOL. I haven't shopped around for architectural salvage anything for a FULL WEEK now....so Iguess it's 7 days and counting. I can do this.

Right?

In a sea of aqua

...Aqua abalone & shell frames & box...

I always knew I loved Jadeite, Mint & other light greens.....

Case in point: there's the green hutch so "lovingly" destroyed with tools & a sander, LOL....

But here's another color that I keep finding reasons to surround myself with.....

Only recently did I notice just how many touches of Aqua I have around the house.....

I think this color just makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. There must be some reason I'm surrounded by so much of it! LOL.....

Another one of my blue acrylic chandys.....

These are 3 ft. hand-forged Aqua blue iron sconces with Swarovski crystals dripping from them. When lit with all the candles, the crystals absolutely sparkle with a hundred rainbows

It's hard to see clearly from this shot, but this little guy is moss green and aqua, I wrapped some cheapie xmas lights aroud the base...30.00 find from Homegoods.

Are you also drawn mostly to one or two colors to use as "accents" around the house? My next post will be of a whole bunch of pictures I found recently online of this beautiful color, vintage prom dresses, elegant rooms, maybe some inspiration or a new idea for one or more of you? I know they put a smile on my face.....

Seashells galore!

My first post. Exciting! Hopefully I will be back for many more. I would love to share thoughts about Shabby-Chic/Beach-Cottage & Vintage-Romantic decorating.

I love my seashell chandlier made so beautifully by an artist in California. It is oh-my-gosh-I-need-a-second-to-pinch-myself-because-I-must-be-dreaming beautiful. I will post some more pictures within the next few days.

I am also getting some seashell frames from her and I can't wait!

There is something special that decorating with shells adds to a room. It's a timeless, romantic and yet whimsical approach to decorating and although I'm sure most would agree I go over the top with the theme, I love it.
